Seasons greetings and happy New Year! At Hamptons, we are not only celebrating the coming of the New Year, but eagerly looking forward to the launch of Burj Dubai on January 4th, the world’s tallest tower. This launch demonstrates the amazing achievements Dubai has made in such a short period of time and will once again thrust the city to the world stage. 2009 was an eventful year with much to look back on and be thankful for. In addition to the achievements of our Hamptons' team, I am very proud of what we have achieved with our Emiratization Programme.

Inspired by the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we've seen the successful graduation of a group of fantastic Emirati National trainees and new hires as well as the inclusion of a number of new trainees and new hires at Hamptons International. Also, we continually strive and maintain our focus on our Emiratization programme as we believe the expansion of this vital programme is key to the development of our future business leaders of this great and proud nation, the United Arab Emirates.

This final issue for 2009 includes an inside peek into one of the trophy homes of Dubai in Emirates Hills, a market review and focus on the vibrant Downtown Burj Dubai, soon to be in the spotlight with the Burj Dubai launch and our properties of the month.
