2010 has seen an influx of buyers from Hong Kong entering the UK property market and in May, Hamptons International will be heading eastward to deliver The Collection, a series of high-profile property events aimed at targeting overseas investors.
The Collection events will profile superior London and country-based UK properties and developments for active buyers and investors based in Hong Kong, Dubai and here in the UK. The aim of each event is to help satisfy the increasing demand for UK property as both a favourable exchange rate and market conditions combine to make the UK a prime investment opportunity for overseas buyers once again.
Andrew Phillips, Regional Sales Director at Hamptons International said, “The rise of overseas investors, specifically those from Hong Kong, is particularly interesting considering the recent recession. It’s generally understood by many that it was investment flowing West from the likes of Hong Kong that helped bolster the UK property market following the recession of the 1990’s. Based on current market trends, it would seem that history is set to repeat itself.
“Although we are seeing demand from UK buyers within 10% of peak levels at present, we have a commitment to make the most of the global demand for residential property and ensure our clients receive the right price within the right timescale for the sale of their home.
“The Collection is an opportunity to make use of our international network and allow clients to market their properties to a targeted buyer audience in global markets. Hamptons International has acted quickly to deliver the prestigious Collection events and guarantees that overseas interest from both professional and non-professional investors in UK residential property can be capitalised on quickly.”
Hamptons International will be targeting a select audience of property investors to attend and view our range of premium UK and London properties at The Collection events.
The Collection exhibition starts at Hamptons International’s exclusive office at Dubai Marina on the 26th – 28th May followed by a second exhibition on the 29th – 30th May at the Hong Kong Mandarin Oriental hotel. A third exhibition will take place in London at the Hamptons International head office in Mayfair on the 2nd June.
