Hamptons International, one of the UK’s premier residential estate agencies, has expanded its residential development consultancy division with the senior appointment of scheme viability and affordable housing expert James Brown to the position of Director.
James Brown is a highly respected figure in the property industry, with a strong reputation as one of the leading experts in his field. James joins Hamptons International directly from Savills, where he spent 12 years setting up and managing the Development Services – Affordable Housing department. As a fresh challenge, he will now be bringing his skills and knowledge to the Development, Investment Land & New Homes team at Hamptons International at its head office in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair

James’ new role will see the Development, Investment Land & New Homes team at Hamptons International expand into new development markets across the UK. Amongst other services, Hamptons International will be offering consultation to private and public sector developers on matters relating to; scheme viability & fundability, obtaining viable planning consents, Section 106 obligations, affordable housing provision, land, value and sale.
