Billed as the ultimate dive destination, Turks & Caicos enjoys clear waters and a fantastic marine life with coral and fish, dolphins, turtles and more. The liveliest area is on Providenciales, with its 12 mile long Grace Bay Beach, lined with resorts.
A British Overseas Territory, the beautiful Turks & Caicos Islands are considered some of the safest places in the Caribbean to visit or to live longer term. Visits up to 90 days are allowed without a visa, with a valid UK passport, but check entry requirements on government websites.
It is not easy for foreigners to gain residency, although there are annual residence and work permits and there is a Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) for a significant investment in the islands, amongst other categories of residency status. Investment from USD$250,000 (or USD$500,000 on Providenciales or West Caicos). Fees, terms & conditions apply.

There is no income tax on the Turks & Caicos Islands. Nor is there capital gains tax, property tax, estate or inheritance tax or corporate tax relating to real estate.
