In the centre of the village of Episkepsi, this large imposing manor house has fabulous views across the village rooftops towards the mountains of Albania and to the Diapontian islands.

With very large spacious rooms, the house has an unusual layout. The main entrance is through a covered but open hallway, originally used as a kitchen, and still incorporating the old stone sink and bread oven. This opens into a large, stone flagged hallway with high ceilings and heavy wooden beams.
From the hallway, the house divides into an upper level and a lower level.

To the left some steps lead down into a large impressive room, originally an olive press. This has a kitchen at one end, and dining/living area at the other, heated by a wood burning stove in one corner and an open fireplace in the other. The authentic floor is made of old bricks, and there are stone details adding to the atmosphere of the room. At one end a window looks out onto the village, and a doorway opens onto a footpath at the side of the building.

Back in the main hallway, an impressive wooden staircase leads to the upstairs landing area, continuing to a second lounge. In total there are four large bedrooms; one on the ground floor, with a bathroom, and three more on the upper floor. The large main room on the upper level is currently a second sitting room, complete with a fireplace and views towards the sea. This room has high ceilings with a mezzanine level, and a small kitchen to one side, plus a small bathroom.
Two large bedrooms lead off this room, each one overlooking the stunning view, with some windows opening onto small 'Juliet' balconies.

Outside, to one side, a pretty and secluded garden also enjoys the fabulous views, and gives plenty of room for outside dining in sun or shade. The lowest part of the garden is at road level, where it would be possible to create a private parking space, and enter the house through the garden.

In addition to the main property, there is also a storage room, currently used for olive oil, this is accessed from the footpath to the side, but could also be accessed via the garden.

The lower two floors of the building are not included in the sale, but they have totally separate access and garden. The separation of the property ensures that each part is private and does not overlook the other.
